The Basics of Slow FashionWith Cassidy Wright and Cory Gunter-Brown

$15-30 sliding scale with $5 materials fee
Learn basic techniques to (re)make simple clothing and accessories! In
this workshop you will learn basic hand and machine sewing, receive solar
and plant dye instruction and create a clothing item of your own!Cassidy and Cory, of the slow fashion shop The Moon, will facilitate hands
on, one on one instruction. Bring a few items of clothing you are willing
to cut up and refashion. A simple sewing kit will be provided along with
instructional handouts to aid you through the workshop.Previous sewing skills not necessary! Groundwork for learning techniques
and resources will be the focus of this workshop.Workshop limited to 7 people
