Comic books combine visual art and writing in a uniquely graphic range of styles. Recently recognized as legitimate literature, the mass-produced media art form can also be appreciated as fine-art. This show brings the viewer face to face with the visual artistry of modern comics. It presents the process from original story boards to final comic books. About Individual Collective: Individual Collective started out as a 3 man partnership with one common goal, to express and create our own works of art. We began by showcasing our personal creations at various art venues, and specialized in performing collaborative art in front of a live audience. After successful showcases at numerous venues in the Bay Area, Individual Collective is bringing its art and creativity to our hometown of Vallejo.
