Its that time of year once again, where the veil between the spirit world and the physical world grows thin...Its also an opportunity to express those darker aspects of our selves through costume and trickery...In this ArtDate, we'll playfully explore and celebrate the shadow archetype and ways in which its repression inhibits our creativity. Rediscover and don your "darker identity" in a safe, accepting, silly atmosphere. Who knew being bad could be so much fun?

Blue Fire Muse provides workshops, retreats, group and private inquiry practices for cultivating creativity and consciousness. Blue Fire Muse is the soul child of Robbyn Alexander, an interdisciplinary, time-based artist and educator whose work draws on deep, psychological investigations, interpersonal relationships and creative process as a spiritual practice. She works across mediums; using film, paint, sound, installation and ritual to explore themes of intimacy, identity and transformation. Her work has shown in film festivals, galleries, and at various art and music events.
Ms. Alexander is core faculty for the Department of Arts & Consciousness at
John F. Kennedy University and holds a Masters in Fine Art degree in New Practices from San Francisco State University. She is currently pursuing a second Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology from the School of Holistic Studies at John F. Kennedy University.
